In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.18 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.92 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.66 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) and Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.90 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
