In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 3.16 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.04 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent) were among the top losers.
