The NSE Nifty index traded 114.25 points down at 22291.35, while BSE Sensex was down 407.22 points at 73465.07 as of 10:34AM(IST)on March 05.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 6.19 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.54 per cent), State Bank of India(up 0.60 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.
