In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.83 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.25 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.93 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 0.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.
