In the Nifty index, Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 5.32 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.09 per cent) were among the top gainers.
