In the Nifty index, Infosys Ltd.(up 2.15 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.
