
Sikandar Day 5 box office: Salman Khan’s film collects just Rs 5.75 crore
Salman Khan’s Sikandar has seen a further drop in its earnings. The movie, which released on March 30, has witnessed declining box office collections since Eid. On Thursday, April 3, Sikandar saw a fall of 41.03 percent in its collection.
As per Sacnilk, Sikandar grossed Rs 5.75 crore on April 3, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 90 crore.

On Day 5, Sikandar had a total occupancy of 8.24 percent across the country. Only night shows of the film showed occupancy in double digits. In terms of city-wise occupancy, Lucknow registered the highest footfall, with 15.75 percent occupancy. Other than Lucknow, Jaipur, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad had occupancy in the double digits. Mumbai registered an occupancy of only 8.75 percent.
Marketed as Salman Khan’s big Eid release, Sikandar has seen a steady decline in its fortunes. The film opened with Rs 26 crore. It managed to mint Rs 29 crore on Eid, but its earnings have been falling since then. The movie was made on a Rs 200 crore budget, making it one of the most expensive Hindi films ever.
Sikandar has not managed to beat the collections of Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama Chhaava, which emerged as the biggest hit of 2025 so far.

Salman Khan on support from Bollywood
The Tiger 3 actor recently commented that he did not receive support for Sikandar from his colleagues and friends. Salman Khan, in a chat with Bollywood Bubble claimed, «Unko aisa lagta hoga ki zaroorat nahin padti mujhe. (Maybe they think that I don't need their support.). But, sabko zaroorat padti hai. (Everybody needs support, including me).»
Salman Khan also admitted that he frequently praises projects by his friends and colleagues.
