Inter Miami CF have officially unveiled their new recruit FIFA World Champion Lionel Messi. He was given the club’s new jersey with the number 10 printed on it and introduced to supporters. Messi wore the jersey and participated in the training.
KickoffThe Argentine superstar will make his Inter Miami debut on Friday at 8 pm ET when he plays against Liga MX team Cruz Azal. The League Cup match will be held at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

League CupThe League Cup is a world cup-like football tournament comprising clubs from the U.S. and Latin America. It will have 29 clubs from Major Soccer League or MLS and 18 from Liga MX. A total of 47 teams have been divided into 15 groups and the top two teams will advance to the knockout stage. The group stage matches will begin on July 21 and the knock-out rounds will begin on August 2. The League Cup final will be held on August 19.
