Solar eclipse 2024 is here and millions of Americans will be able to witness the rare phenomenon. On April 8, there will be no sun light for more than 4 minutes in the total solar eclipse path, as per reports.
Total solar eclipse 2024 path will cover areas such as Buffalo, Indianapolis, Dallas, and Cleveland.
April’s eclipse will begin in the Pacific and make landfall at Mazatlan, Mexico, heading up through Texas and other US states before crossing into Canada and exiting into the Atlantic at Newfoundland. Those outside the 115-mile-wide (185-kilometer-wide) path, will get a partial eclipse.

Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Hot Springs, Little Rock, Popular Bluff, Paducah, Carbondale, Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Muncie, Toledo, Cleveland, Akron, Dayton, Erie, Buffalo, Niagra Falls, Rochester, Syracuse, Plattsburg, Montpelier, Burlington, and Houlton.
The US states where a few locations will be witness umbra or total solar eclipse on April 8 are Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire.
