PlayStation has revealed details about its wireless earbuds, the PlayStation Pulse Explore. Though the parent company, Sony, has made earbuds in the past like the ones called WF1000XM4, Pulse Explore is the first set of earbuds under the brand PlayStation.
PlayStation claims that its Pulse Explore will give its users a «premium portable audio experience» with its dual microphones and the noise rejection system that is supported by artificial intelligence. The noise rejection system cancels all kinds of background sound and it will have a lossless audio system. It also has a retractable boom mic and a charging mount. The set also carries a charging set. A pair of PlayStation Pulse Explore will cost $199.99.
Besides unveiling the details of the wireless earbuds, PlayStation also introduced a new headset, the PlayStation Elite wireless headset. Like the earbuds, the headset also contains lossless audio and an AI-enhanced noise rejection system. It costs $149.99.
PlayStation has also introduced the Link Wireless Audio Technology, which is inside a USB adapter. It gives low latency lossless audio and it can be switched between the PlayStation Portal and the PS5. The Link Wireless Audio Technology comes along with the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore packaging. But it can also be bought as a standalone item. It can also be used on the Mac and PC besides the earbuds and the headsets.
