Sportz Village, India’s largest school sports organisation, has launched PathwayZ36, an initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing young sporting talent through its nationwide network of partner schools and grassroots programmes. The initiative seeks to strengthen India’s pipeline of national and international athletes.

The launch event was graced by Anju Bobby George, Padma Shri, Arjuna Award, and Khel Ratna awardee, who underscored the importance of early talent identification and sustained support. She stated, «It is crucial to identify young talent early and provide them with the right guidance, resources, and opportunities. Initiatives like PathwayZ36 ensure our youth not only dream of representing the nation but are also given a clear pathway to achieve it.»
Saumil Majmudar, Co-Founder, CEO & Managing Director of Sportz Village, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to integrating sports into education for over two decades. He called PathwayZ36 «a major step forward in building a larger talent pool for the country.»
Parminder Gill, Co-Founder & Head of Foundation at Sportz Village, stressed the need to support grassroots athletes in their journey to the elite level. He explained that the ‘36’ in PathwayZ36 reflects the initiative’s long-term vision of preparing Indian athletes for success at the 2036 Olympics and beyond.
