PM Modi’s interaction with NDA MPs starting from July 31 to August 10. A total of 430 MPs have been divided into 11 groups and Modi will hold a meeting with each group separately for an hour. On July 31, the first two meetings shall take place in Delhi.
First meeting would be of 42 MPs from West, Braj, Kanpur-Bundelkhand regions of UP. For this meeting union ministers Sanjeev Balyan and BL Verma would be the host ministers and the meeting shall take place in Uttar Pradesh Bhawan. PM Modi will be physically present in the meeting.
Apart from PM Modi, BJP president JP Nadda and union minister Nitin Gadkari would also be present in the meeting. Two of the four leaders Nadda, union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari would present in all the meetings along with the PM. These ministers have been named as dignitaries.
Next meeting on the same day would be of MPs from West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha in the parliament house where Shah and Rajnath Singh would be present with the PM. Two union ministers have been designated as host ministers who will organise the meetings at the decided venue. Along with the minister two party MPs have been made in-charges.
During the one-hour meeting, PM Modi shall speak for the first 20 minutes followed by the speech from the two dignitaries. In the last half an hour, the MPs would express their views. The meeting is aimed to project NDA as a cohesive force with the common agenda and campaign strategy for the upcoming general elections.
The exercise was planned after the meeting of NDA partners with the PM on July 18. Most of the meetings are supposed to take place at the parliament building. However, in some cases the meetings would be organised in state bhavans.
