Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 15.49%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 8.26%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 6.31%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 4.81%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.37%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(up 4.16%), Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 4.15%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(up 4.14%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(up 3.45%) and Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(up 3.28%) were among the top gainers.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.14%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 59.56 points down at 23498.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 46.01 points at 77255.13 at around 10:24AM.
IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.97%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.68%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.02%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.81%), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.74%) and State Bank of India(up 0.51%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 3.01%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.14%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.91%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.9%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.8%), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.68%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.66%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.64%), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.61%) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.61%) were trading in the
