Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 86.41 points to 24130.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Akme Fintrade(India, Stampede Cap, Reliance Home Fin, Integra Garment and Paras Petrofils, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 31 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 19 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, SBI, SBI Life, ONGC and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Grasim Inds., HCL Tech, Kotak Bank and M&M traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 262.73 points up at 79505.91 at 10:14AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Packaging, Irrigation & Allied Services, Sugar and Paper sectors, while selling was visible in Gas & Petroleum, Airlines, Aquaculture, Tobacco and Beverages — Alcoholic sectors.
