Stock market update: FMCG stocks down as market falls

ADF Foods Ltd.(up 1.36%), LT Foods Ltd.(up 1.19%), Dangee Dums Ltd.(up 0.57%), Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 0.51%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.40%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 0.31%) and Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(up 0.17%) were among the top gainers.

Heritage Foods Ltd.(down 2.35%), Sheetal Cool Products Ltd.(down 2.08%), Umang Dairies Ltd.(down 1.99%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.(down 1.54%), Hindustan Foods Ltd.(down 1.39%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(down 1.23%), Dodla Dairy Ltd.(down 1.19%), Dabur India Ltd.(down 1.19%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(down 1.16%) and Patanjali Foods Ltd.(down 1.16%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 197.75 points at 24350.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 650.71 points at 80639.25 at around 10:13AM.
Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.5%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.21%) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.04%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
