Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(up 5.78%), NLC India Ltd.(up 2.68%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 2.46%), CESC Ltd.(up 1.43%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(up 0.91%), Karma Energy Ltd.(up 0.36%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(up 0.15%), GE Power India Ltd.(up 0.08%) and GE Vernova T&D India Ltd.(up 0.05%) were among the top gainers.

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd.(down 3.40%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 3.34%), Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 3.10%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 2.47%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 2.00%), GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd.(down 1.89%), KEC International Ltd.(down 1.88%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 1.84%), Adani Power Ltd.(down 1.74%) and Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 1.70%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 246.35 points at 23952.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 876.01 points at 79306.19 at around 10:36AM.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.56%), Trent Ltd.(up 0.56%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 0.46%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.45%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 0.37%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
