Adani Power Ltd.(up 6.46%), GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd.(up 5.00%), KEC International Ltd.(up 3.80%), JSW Energy Ltd.(up 2.83%), GE Vernova T&D India Ltd.(up 2.54%), Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.(up 2.52%), Adani Green Energy Ltd.(up 2.06%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 1.64%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 0.83%) and KPI Green Energy Ltd.(up 0.74%) stood among the top gainers.
Karma Energy Ltd.(down 5.68%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 5.00%), PTC India Ltd.(down 3.91%), SJVN Ltd.(down 3.69%), ACME Solar Holdings Ltd.(down 3.14%), Reliance Power Ltd.(down 3.04%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 3.01%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 2.98%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(down 2.98%) and Torrent Power Ltd.(down 2.91%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 168.5 points at 23644.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 450.94 points at 78248.13.
