Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 4.02%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(down 3.34%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(down 2.34%), KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd.(down 2.30%), Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 1.98%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.92%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.80%), Magadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 1.65%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)Ltd.(down 1.63%) and Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 1.61%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 204.4 points at 23107.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 763.16 points at 76279.66 at around 11:01AM.
Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.09%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.63%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.52%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.42%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.37%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.27%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.26%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.25%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.14%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.12%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
