The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 137.56 points up at 23300.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 342.65 points at 76875.61 at around 10:44AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.22%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.6%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.47%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.41%), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.21%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 2.03%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.75%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.59%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.59%) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.53%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
