Ugar Sugar Works Ltd.(down 2.33%), Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 2.22%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 2.20%), Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 2.04%), Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd.(down 2.02%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(down 2.00%), Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(down 1.95%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 1.83%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.67%) and Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.61%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 165.91 points down at 23316.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 441.99 points at 77063.97 at around 11:25AM.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.66%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.55%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.35%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.87%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.49%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.42%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.3%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.16%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.96%) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.88%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
