Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(down 8.14%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(down 5.00%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(down 4.50%), KIOCL Ltd.(down 3.77%), NMDC Ltd.(down 3.25%), Pokarna Ltd.(down 3.10%), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.94%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 2.65%), 20 Microns Ltd.(down 2.40%) and Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(down 2.12%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 121.11 points down at 23361.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 319.22 points at 77186.74.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 5.33%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.14%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.89%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.7%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.33%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.8%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.77%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.73%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.35%) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.8%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
