Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(down 6.78%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 5.87%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(down 5.68%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 5.59%), Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(down 5.44%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 5.32%), Karma Energy Ltd.(down 5.02%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(down 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(down 5.00%) and ACME Solar Holdings Ltd.(down 4.94%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 121.11 points down at 23361.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 319.22 points at 77186.74.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 5.33%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.14%), Wipro Ltd.(up 2.89%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 2.7%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.33%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.8%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.77%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.73%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.35%) and Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.8%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
