KEC International Ltd.(down 6.90%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 2.77%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 2.74%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 2.73%), CESC Ltd.(down 2.69%), KPI Green Energy Ltd.(down 2.67%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 2.35%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 2.21%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 2.07%) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(down 1.86%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 18.96 points at 23688.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 50.62 points at 78148.49.
