EID Parry(India)Ltd.(down 0.69%), Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd.(down 0.59%) and Sakthi Sugars Ltd.(down 0.23%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 132.86 points at 24055.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 465.14 points at 79478.57 at around 11:15AM.
