Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls
Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(up 5.52%), Bohra Industries Ltd.(up 4.85%), Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 2.33%), Coromandel International Ltd.(up 1.24%), Aries Agro Ltd.(up 1.00%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(up 0.56%) and Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 0.39%) stood among the top gainers.
Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 4.93%), Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 4.32%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(down 3.78%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 3.15%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(down 2.56%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.17%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.86%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(down 1.67%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(down 1.57%) and Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.51%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 168.5 points at 23644.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 450.94 points at 78248.13.
