Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(up 4.26%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 2.51%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 2.13%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(up 1.92%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(up 1.86%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(up 1.53%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(up 1.44%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(up 1.37%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(up 1.26%) and Coromandel International Ltd.(up 1.01%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 1.56%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(down 1.33%) and The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(down 0.10%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 111.05 points at 23755.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 403.74 points at 78542.75 at around 11:15AM.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.93%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.71%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.48%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.42%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.31%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.02%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.02%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.95%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.94%) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.9%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
