Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises

Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 5.99%), Ashapura Minechem(up 3.99%), MOIL(up 1.54%), Lexus Granito(up 1.40%), KIOCL(up 0.38%) and Aro Granite Industries(up 0.21%) were among the top gainers.
Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.61%), Pokarna(down 0.67%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 0.63%), NMDC Ltd(down 0.49%) and Coal India(down 0.26%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 33.0 points up at 19477.0, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 107.34 points at 65540.64 at around 11:20AM.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.71%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.69%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.66%), Asian Paints(up 1.32%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.06%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.98%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.93%), Axis Bank(up 0.86%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.82%) and UPL Ltd(up 0.73%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 0.92%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.48%), NTPC(down 0.43%), Divis Laboratories(down 0.42%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.4%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.38%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.37%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.29%), Coal India(down 0.26%) and Cipla(down 0.17%) were trading in the red.
