Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises

MOIL(up 3.57%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 2.48%), Lexus Granito(up 1.54%), Aro Granite Industries(up 1.06%), NMDC Ltd(up 0.97%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 0.92%), Oriental Trimex(up 0.76%) and Coal India(up 0.19%) were among the top gainers.
KIOCL(down 2.64%), Pokarna(down 2.29%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 2.25%) and Ashapura Minechem(down 0.59%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 93.65 points up at 19140.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 329.85 points at 64112.65 at around 10:29AM.

Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.43%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.3%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.78%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.65%), State Bank of India(up 0.6%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.59%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.52%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 0.47%) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.46%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.76%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.45%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.04%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.02%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.91%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.86%), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.82%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.79%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.63%) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.62%) were trading in the red.
