Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises
Madhav Marbles and Granites(up 8.08%), Lexus Granito(up 4.38%), NMDC Ltd(up 3.30%), 20 Microns(up 2.69%), Pokarna(up 2.02%), Coal India(up 1.72%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores(up 1.37%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(up 0.88%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(up 0.54%) and MOIL(up 0.36%) were among the top gainers.
Oriental Trimex(down 1.51%) and KIOCL(down 0.34%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 97.4 points up at 21446.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 267.2 points at 71374.16 at around 11:26AM.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.98%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.89%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.15%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.15%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.8%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.75%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.74%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.74%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.72%) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.7%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
