Stock market update: Mining stocks up as market rises

Oriental Trimex Ltd.(up 7.76%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 3.16%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 2.86%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 2.42%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.40%), 20 Microns Ltd.(up 0.97%), The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 0.19%) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 0.05%) were among the top gainers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 22.0 points down at 22100.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 44.54 points at 72752.7 at around 11:15AM.
