Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index 0.94%
Shares of Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 2.88 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 2.8 per cent), Gland Pharma Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 2.16 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.94 per cent at 22450.20.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 144.96 points at 24276.05, while the BSE Sensex stood 445.29 points at 80248.08.
