Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.25% in a weak market
J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 1.96 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.61 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 0.58 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Natco Pharma Ltd.(down 2.29 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Sanofi India Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.25 per cent at 23621.1 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 34.21 points at 25093.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 75.82 points at 81897.23.
