Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.68% in a weak market
SOBHA(up 1.58 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.44 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.26 per cent) were among the top gainers. Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 1.9 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.57 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 1.21 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.08 per cent) and DLF(down 0.62 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.68 per cent at 530.45 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 91.25 points at 19274.0, while the BSE Sensex was down 288.6 points at 64862.42.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 39 were in the red. Shares of Indian Railway Fin, Alok Industries, IOB, YES Bank and Manappuram Finance were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
