Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 20.3 points to 22003.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, Sintex Plastics Tech, Omkar Speciality, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Radaan Media, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 22 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, M&M, JSW Steel, ONGC and Tata Motors were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, UPL, Adani Ent., Asian Paints and Nestle India traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 55.28 points down at 72588.15 at 10:49AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Media & Entertainment and Metals — Ferrous sectors, while selling was visible in Agro Processing, FMCG, Logistics, Defence and Cables sectors.
