Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 60.1 points to 23319.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Sanginita Chemicals, Neueon Towers, Kronox Lab Sciences, Supreme Infra and Borosil Scientific, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 37 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, L&T, Hero MotoCorp, Britannia and Tata Steel were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, BPCL, Kotak Bank, Dr. Reddys and Adani Ent. traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 178.49 points up at 76668.57 at 11:00AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Industrial Equipment, Miscellaneous, Packaging and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was visible in IT Software, Banks, Defence, Tea / Coffee and Trading sectors.
