Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 51.0 points up at 23567.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, Divgi Torqtransfer, Kanani Inds, IndInfravit Trust and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Grasim Inds., BPCL, JSW Steel and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Sun Pharma, M&M, NTPC and Wipro ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 141.34 points up at 77478.93.
Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Sugar, Irrigation & Allied Services, Miscellaneous and Petrochemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Airlines, Tobacco, Metals — Non Ferrous, Beverages — Alcoholic and IT Software sectors during the day.
