Stock market update: Sugar stocks up as market rises
Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 1.94%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 1.42%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 1.37%), Mawana Sugars(up 1.22%), Rana Sugars(up 1.21%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 1.21%), Sakthi Sugars(up 1.19%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(up 1.18%), DCM Shriram Industries(up 1.15%) and EID Parry(up 1.09%) were among the top gainers.
BAJAJHIND(down 0.89%) and Uttam Sugar Mills(down 0.79%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 132.2 points up at 19121.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 479.76 points at 64071.09 at around 10:14AM.
Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.42%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.08%), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.19%), UPL Ltd.(up 1.17%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.17%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.15%), State Bank of India(up 1.12%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.11%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.05%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
