Shraddha Kapoor is celebrating the success of her newest movie ‘Stree 2’. The quirky horror-comedy, which is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster ‘Stree’, has been shattering box-office records since its release.
According to a report by box-office tracking portal Sacnilk.com, the Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao-starrer is inching closer to the Rs 300 crore mark.
The horror-comedy film raked in more than Rs 280 crore worldwide within its first four days in theaters. ‘Stree 2’, which hit cinemas on Thursday, was met with favorable reviews.
On Monday, the actress dropped a poster of the movie, revealing that the movie had earned Rs 283 crore globally in just four days, accompanied by folded hand emojis in her caption.

Helmed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios, ‘Stree 2’ centers on a group of friends, with Rajkummar Rao playing Vicky, a tailor by trade. This time, their hometown of Chanderi is haunted by a new antagonist, Sarkata. Alongside Rajkummar and Shraddha, the cast includes Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana in prominent roles.
