The clip opened with Ackles saying, «Hey, Jared. We got work to do...again.» Padalecki responded, «Okay. I'll tell Misha,» before panning the camera to a Chevrolet Impala with supernatural symbols on its trunk—a clear nod to their past. Collins then made an appearance, giving a thumbs-up and asking, «What are we doing?» The post was captioned, «Season 5 just got a bit more supernatural.»
A Legacy of Monster Hunting
Supernatural ran for 15 years, from 2005 to 2020, following Sam and Dean Winchester as they hunted supernatural creatures. Ackles and Padalecki starred as the brothers, while Collins joined in season 4 as the angel Castiel. The show, created by Eric Kripke, built a dedicated fanbase over its 327-episode run.
Since then, the trio has remained close. In a 2021 interview with The New York Times, Padalecki said, «I love Jensen deeply. He's my brother — he has been for many years, and he always will be, no matter what.»
