Puneet Kumar, founder and former chief executive of morning grocery delivery service Supr Daily, has joined Nexus Venture Partners, which has backed the likes of Zepto, Unacademy and Postman.
“Excited to join @NexusVP as a Venture Partner and pay it forward to the startup ecosystem,” Kumar wrote in a post on microblogging platform X.
Kumar was previously at startup accelerator Y Combinator, where he was a group visiting partner for a year from April 2022. At Y Combinator, he participated in demo days, where startups pitched to get selected in the accelerator's summer and winter cohorts.

Kumar joining Nexus Venture Partners adds to a long list of top personnel changes at venture firms in India over the last 8-10 months. On March 21, ET reported that Sameer Brij Verma, one of the managing directors at Nexus Venture Partners, was set to leave the firm to start his own investment fund.
In February, Nexus Venture Partners said it promoted principal Anand Datta to a partner. Investment firms such as Lightspeed, Peak XV Partners, Orios Venture Partners, Lightbox Ventures and Trifecta Capital have also seen senior-level exits.
