Hyundai Creta that saw a 4.76% year-on-year increase in sales. The SUV found 14,447 homes in June 2023 as compared to 13,790 in the same month last year. Creta contributed to 14.21% of total SUV sales made in June this year.
At second position is Tata Nexon that registered 13,827 sales in June 2023. The overall sales declined by 3.27% as compared to June 2022 when the company sold 14,295 units of the SUV. Hyundai Venue and Tata Punch are at third and fourth position respectively, with 11,606 and 10,990 units sold in June 2023.
Sales of Hyundai Venue SUV increased by 12.45% YoY, while Punch witnessed a rise of 5.53 per cent only. A total of 10,414 units of Punch was sold in June 2022. Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza and Grand Vitara are at number five and six.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza saw maximum YoY growth at 140.19%. The company sold 10,578 units as compared to 4,404 units in the same period last year. Grand Vitara found 10,486 homes in June 2023.
Mahindra Scorpio N is at number seven with 109.34% YoY growth in sales at 8,648 units in June 2023. The company had sold 4,131 units of the SUV in June 2022. Last three in the list are the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV700 at 7,991, 7,722 and 5,391 units, respectively.
