Taylor Swift's boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce bags first big Hollywood role in action comedy
Travis Kelce, who is currently dating pop star Taylor Swift, has secured his first significant Hollywood role. Kelce is set to star in the upcoming action comedy «Loose Cannons,» a film being developed by the producers of the popular «John Wick» series, as per the reports of Daily Star.
Film details and production team
The film «Loose Cannons» is currently in the early stages of production. Known for his work on «Pixels,» screenwriter Timothy Dowling wrote the script. Through 87Eleven Entertainment, Chad Stahelski, who produced the «John Wick» trilogy, will produce the movie. Jason Spitz and Alex Young will also be involved. The story of the movie is about two outspoken police officers who are thrown together after a precinct merger and aren't given more structured partners. It will have features reminiscent of vintage buddy action comedies such as Rush Hour, Lethal Weapon, and Bad Boys.

Kelce's other projects
In addition to his film role, Kelce is set to appear in the horror drama «Grostesquerie,» created by Ryan Murphy. This FX series, which will premiere in September, explores a community affected by horrific crimes. Kelce will act alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Lesley Manville, and Courtney B. Vance.
