TCS has kickstarted its fresher hiring process for IT as well as business outsourcing roles through its national tests for the engineers as well as other graduates for the batch of 2024. This comes at a time when the $250 billion IT industry, which is witnessing a slowdown in business over the about-to-end ongoing fiscal year, is expecting growth to return by the second half of FY25 starting April.
Launching its annual TCS national qualifier test (NQT) exclusively for students graduating in 2024, the Tata group’s IT major has called engineers and computer graduates to apply for Ninja and Digital fresher hiring, TCS’ aptitude and coding tests. The last date for application is April 10 and tests will be conducted on April 26.
Typically, TCS offers annual salary packages for freshers in the range of around Rs 3-4 lakh for undergraduates going as high as Rs 11-12 lakh per annum for post graduate candidates.
Through NQT, TCS calls for freshers with “academic degrees in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech.) / Master of Engineering (M.E.) / Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) / Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S.) in any specialization offered by recognized
