15-member squad and who was not, team India's T20 jersey for the T20 World Cup was the most awaited thing among the fans.
Adidas, India's official kit partner, on Tuesday revealed India's T20 jersey in a rather interesting way.
The video features skipper Rohit Sharma and spinner Kuldeep Yadav and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja at the picturesque Dharamsala stadium. A chopper is seen carrying the blue-orange jersey.
The new gear features tri-color stripes adorning a v-shaped neckline, with a blend of blue on the front and back, and saffron hues accentuating the sleeves. The jersey also displays the hallmark three stripes emblematic of sports apparel giant Adidas along with the BCCI logo.
The new jersey can be bought from stores and online from May 7, Adidas said.
On April 30, the BCCI named India's 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup set to be held in the US and Carribean, with Rishabh Pant making a comeback to international cricket.
India currently features in the 'Group A' of the upcoming tournament. Other teams in the group include arch-rivals Pakistan, alongside Ireland, Canada and co-host USA.
India's first game will be played against Ireland on June 5 against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. Up next, India will face Pakistan on June 9 in what is one of the most anticipated matches of the T20 World Cup.
