Congress party has clinched a majority by securing 60 seats (as of 11:30 am) in the southern state of Telangana on Sunday, positioning itself to form the government. Notably, Congress candidate Revanth Reddy has emerged as a formidable force, leading in the crucial Kamareddy constituency and challenging his opponent, KCR.
Despite K Chandrashekhar Rao's Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) facing setbacks in the 119-seat Telangana Assembly, the party leader himself is leading in the Gajwel constituency.
Gajwel, a pivotal area within the Medak Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency, holds significance as the stronghold of the incumbent Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR.
