Netflix's animated series Terminator Zero will feature Rosario Dawson, Ann Dowd, André Holland and Sonoya Mizuno in voiceover roles. The series, produced by Production IG, premieres on August 29.
Rosario Dawson will voice Kokoro, an advanced AI and Japan’s answer to Skynet. Ann Dowd will play The Prophet, the philosophical guide for the human resistance, guiding survivors through an unknown future. André Holland will voice Malcolm Lee, a genius computer programmer and father of three, haunted by nightmares of an apocalyptic future. Sonoya Mizuno will voice Eiko, a resistance fighter sent back in time to stop Malcolm from launching Kokoro. Timothy Olyphant will voice the Terminator.

The series will be the first animated iteration of the franchise, produced by Production IG. The series is set in two time periods: 2022, where a war rages between humans and machines, and 1997, when Skynet gained self-awareness and started its war against humanity.
