In this alternate reality, the Justice League is now the «Yakuza League». The Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman lead their own clans and are after Batman.
Additional Reveals at the Expo
Anime News Network reported more reveals at the expo. Posters for the film and its characters were showcased. The posters feature a strong Japanese anime art style.
Creative Team
Junpei Mizusaki, who directed the 2018 film, returns to direct 'Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League'. He is joined by Shinji Takagi. Kamikaze Douga will animate the film again. Koichi Yamadera is the only confirmed cast member so far. An official cast list has not been released yet.
Other Upcoming Batman Projects
'Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League' is not the only upcoming Batman project. 'Batman: Caped Crusader', an animated TV show, will debut on Prime Video in August. Matt Reeves's sequel to 'The Batman', starring Robert Pattinson, will begin production next year.
