Tesla's All-Hands-Meet at 10 PM had employees worried and confused; here's what Elon Musk said at the meeting

The EV maker invited its staff with a message saying, «Join the Company All Hands to hear about Tesla's recent achievements and how we're making the impossible possible,» as per Business Insider.

But the event, scheduled to start at 9:30 pm ET, led to confusion and frustration. Staff members, accustomed to all-hands meetings within regular working hours, were taken aback due to the evening timing and the absence of advance notice, according to the report. Some employees even learned about the meeting initially through social media announcements, leaving them questioning the legitimacy of the event, as per Business Insider.
A Tesla engineer said, «It feels a bit hasty. No one was expecting this tonight and we're all just trying to catch up,» quoted Business Insider.
While another employee labelled the event a «publicity stunt,» implying that the gathering was less about satisfying the workers' concerns and more about impressing investors, according to Business Insider.

The confusion didn't end there. Tesla posted a livestream link to the event, then removed it 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the meeting, as per the report.
According to Business Insider, in the deleted livestream, a man's voice could be heard saying many random things, like «Dylan on stage» and «Stock parts. Joe. That's the best I can do.»
After the failed livestream, Tesla sent out a new link just before 9:30 pm ET, but the stream was silent for almost 30 minutes before finally starting, reported Business Insider.
