When asked by a fan if the script for 'The Batman Part II' is being written, Gunn replied, «Yes.» Another fan asked when the script might be ready. Gunn stated that the decision lies with director Reeves, saying, «When Matt thinks it's ready!»
Cast Robert Pattinson will return as Bruce Wayne, The Dark Knight. Jeffrey Wright will reprise his role as Jim Gordon. Like the 2022 film, 'The Batman Part II' will be part of the DC Elseworlds banner, existing in a separate timeline from Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Universe.
