Warner Bros. Discovery has announced a new agreement with GKids, extending the exclusive U.S. streaming rights for Studio Ghibli films on HBO Max. This deal ensures that HBO Max will remain the home of Studio Ghibli's catalog, including beloved classics like “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Kiki’s Delivery Service,” and “Spirited Away.” As part of the agreement, HBO Max will also premiere Miyazaki’s latest film, “The Boy and the Heron,” which recently won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
